Hello dear ladies ~

What to say about myself? Well, I am first a child of God: a follower of King Jesus, wholehearted believer in the perfect Word of God (the Bible), ransomed sinner, and figurative pillar for His palace.

My name is Melissa, and I am wife to my one-and-only since 2004, mother of five precious arrows (also known as children) ages 9 to 17, keeper of our family’s house, and much more in practicalities.

I love my King Jesus and my Country of Heaven, and I love to write, so I have combined those loves into a blog platform. I am a firm believer that what subjects Christians fail to teach Biblically, the enemy of our souls will teach their counterfeits. I am seeing many counterfeits today. I also find in the Bible in 1 Timothy chapter 2 the charge for older women to teach younger women a list of very certain and essential things pertaining to life and godliness. I wouldn’t say I am old, but I am older than someone, so I consider myself duly charged.

Ladies, I love you all. Each of you bears the likeness of our Creator, and each of you was created for a very specific purpose. Therefore, you are worthy to be loved.

My hope and prayer is that what God teaches me I can effectively pass on to you.
